Powerlines and Playgrounds Black and White
I believe that this is the best photo in my album of playgrounds and powerlines. This photo represents a great low point of view seeing straight up the telephone pole up into the power lines. You can also view the wooden texture all the way up the telephone pole. This displays positive and negative space because there is triangular figures created by the electrical wires. Finally, this photo contains great depth and a large depth of field because the power lines are far but close enough to be seen clearly and the telephone pole is very close to the camera to notice the exact detail in the pole.
The camera settings that I would use would be different than the ones my phone automatically used. I would use a lower iso (400) because it is very bright out in the image above. I would use the white balance to get rid of the unnatural colors and make it a natural photo. I would use a fast shutter speed to catch the specific details of the powerlines. I would use high aperture so I could catch most of the pole in focus.
This photo is by far my best photo in the album. Overall, you can see the fine texture throughout the pole and you can see the individual wires along the top of the pole. The texture of the photo would keep the viewers intrigued because you can see how old and rustic the pole is by the visual damage shown.
